Nicholas Perez, Psy.D

Clinical Neuropsychologist 

Dr. Perez is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist who completed his Master's and Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology as well as completed a second Master's in Clinical Psychology with a specialization on Latino/a at Montclair State University. His dissertation focused on structural equation modeling, identifying factors, and the impact that depression has on attentional abilities across cultural groups. Prior to joining the practice, Dr. Perez worked in various settings, such as in and outpatient psychiatric hospitals, and a number of schools along the East Coast providing psychotherapy, biofeedback, cognitive rehabilitation, and neuropsychological examinations to individuals across the lifespan. Additionally, Dr. Perez has worked with individuals in the NHL, where he treated individuals with a history of TBI and concussions. Dr. Perez has a history of working with individuals across all ethnic and social groups, working with individuals who identify as LGBTQ, and working with a large array of cultures both in English and Spanish. He also has experience teaching graduate and undergraduate classes on psychology, neuropsychological assessment, statistics, and research design at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and Montclair State University.
