David Z. Taylor received his Master's Degree in Counseling/Psychology from the University of Scranton in 1977. At that time, he was appointed Outpatient Coordinator for the Community Counseling Services in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Shortly after, he was named Director of Transitional Mental Health Services at Newton Memorial Hospital Center for Mental Health, later to be promoted to Vice President of Mental Health and Physical Rehabilitation Services. He joined Neuropsychology & Counseling Associates in 2008. Dave Taylor has been married for 40 years to Sandy and has proudly helped raise two successful children, Zak, age 35, and Alli, age 33. Dave Taylor services include: Individual and Family counseling for both male and female children age seven to 21 years, along with family counseling/collateral supportive counseling. Presenting problem areas: Anger, depression, oppositional and conduct disorders, adaptive behavioral issues at home and school, academic underachievement, social withdrawal/isolation, and social communication deficits. Interventions provided: Cognitive behavioral therapy, social skills building, communication skills building, family problem-solving and system improvement counseling, collateral support with other professionals and schools.
